Steve Grabovac's novel “Mulatto Albino Mosquito” is a testimony of a lost generation. At the very beginning, in childhood, that generation seemed to have a future, at least that's how it might seem to those who believed in it, but instead, a war apocalypse followed, ruined teenage years, and then, when some kind of peace came, life without hope followed in the post-apocalyptic, post-war, dystopian society that we all know so well today. “The mulatto albino mosquito” is one of the many tales of the past that everyone would rather forget. It is an extremely readable, but also sad read, written in honest and simple language, without reservation and without any hint of politicization. Stevo Grabovac wrote a novel that will be read and remembered for a long time.
